Beloved family dog, Dog saves her master, Children’s story about a brave dog, Heroic dog, A dog named Molly, Molly McPherson, Molly saves the day
Molly McPherson - 1st Lady
Molly is just a young pup when she comes to live with the McPhersons, but they quickly become her family. She loves them with all her heart, and they love her too, teaching her all the things she needs to know to be a good dog and their First Lady. With their love and attention, and some wonderful dog friends who lived nearby, her life is almost perfect, until one day when something goes wrong. Mr. McPherson’s friend is nowhere to be found and everyone is worried.
Molly knows that she needs to help them, but she’s just a young dog and the world is a big place. Will she be able to save the day? With the help and cooperation of her closest friends ... anything is possible.
As a newspaper reporter, columnist, and freelance writer for the past sixteen years, Janice McAlpine is no stranger to both fiction and non-fiction writing. Being a grandmother and former schoolteacher, an interest in children’s stories developed naturally, but it was her experience living with close friends and their family dog that inspired this story, which will become the first in a series of books featuring the crafty canine.
Born and raised in Welland, Ontario, Janice currently lives in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, with her husband Darrell.
