The Serpent's Child
by G.C. Hannah

Malady was a normal 17-year-old girl, until the day she found out that she was the granddaughter of the Devil Lucifer himself. She is part of a prophecy that will determine the end of hell’s war against the heavens. Her role will decide which side will win in the end. She doesn’t know this yet, but her power is the strongest and most dangerous one there is. She leaves sickness and destruction in her path. Although she is a confident, sarcastic, sharp tongued female, nothing can prepare her for the truth that lies before her.

Hannah was born and raised in Canada. She has been greatly influenced by her family, who have supported her writing throughout the years. Hannah began to write at a young age when she found a passion for literature. Her writing and imaginative worlds have helped her through difficult times allowing her to express herself in stories. She wrote The Serpent’s Child when she was 15, while in between her high school classes and advance acting program. Hannah writes about abstract ideas and tends to write in a dark gothic way, but her writing style varies and can be quite charming. She loves to narrate her stories to be about topics that society is afraid to talk about, such as: mental health, suicide, and abuse. Sadly, Hannah has had her fair amount of each, but has learned to use it to be able to write truthfully and express her experiences. Hannah is attending University to major in Psychology, so that she can work with and help people who suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. She hopes that her writing journey will inspire other young writers to begin their young careers, and gives insight to mental health.
