An Individual's Innocence
The Silent Screams
by
James G. Yeo
From a tough life, Charles tells the story of abuse and bad choices to Tammy, his counsellor. Returning back to see Tammy three years later after being diagnosed with Schizophrenia, Charles has changed his attitude towards her and his life. With all the extremes that his life has been, Charles survives with only emotional scars. Look through the eye's of someone who lives undiagnosed with Schizophrenia.
For all those that have been behind me all throughout this long journey. I wouldn't be here without the support. Thank you. Another day, another life.
James G. Yeo has lived with Schizophrenia all of his life but was diagnosed in 2005 at the age of 26. With the will of not letting it end his life, he continued reaching up for his dreams and goals. Through his ups and downs, he has had his friends and family to support him since he was diagnosed. His writing has the ability to make you feel as though you are part of the story.
