Maret Johanson has been working in Mental Health, Academia and as a Family Therapist for over 35 years. She has promoted journaling/writing as a tool towards recovery with the people she has counselled. She has written numerous articles for newspapers and magazines. She has now turned her hand to fiction. This is her first novel. Maret grew up in Toronto but has spent most of her life in Vancouver. She lives with her family in a quiet seaside cove in West Vancouver. Her desk top writing companion is her big orange cat, Bailey.
