Traveling East
Memoirs of a Yehuwdite Prince
by
California Ghost King
California Ghost King’s powerful and poignant collection of poems passionately express his struggle of being a so-called black man in America while knowing his true identity as a Hebrew Israelite, from the tribe of Judah. He understands that there is no greater travail than that of a people who have suffered the loss of their land, language, culture, and God. In this book he artistically reveals his sincere thoughts and emotions about living in America and his ardent desire for cultural recognition and freedom.
California Ghost King was born May 16, 1979, a lost black man in America. Writing was the way he chose to escape the gang culture of his community and travel the depths of his creative mind. The reality of his environment changed his inspiration for life, as many of his young friends were murdered before he reached the age of eighteen. These events shocked his mind and caused him to search deeper for the purpose of his own life, which eventually lead him to his true birth what some may call a rebirth when California Ghost King found that he was a descendant of the ancient Hebrew Israelite people. As his consciousness grew he became a visionary who now chooses to use his art to uplift his brothers and sisters who are most commonly referred to as Blacks or African Americans, as well as all other righteous moral people of the earth.
