There Is Sunshine

No matter who you are, you have been or will be affected by drinking and driving. It takes a split second to change the lives of many people and it takes the rest of a person's life to adjust to the change. Agnes Morgan was an angel on earth who innocently stepped into an intersection on a sunny February afternoon. With the light in her favour, a man who admitted to having "one to four" beers in him, the day following a Super Bowl party also entered the intersection in a 3/4 ton truck. Her daughter narrates the 'picking up of the pieces', the reflections and sees to it that she passes on her mother's words of wit and wisdom.
Scottish-born Cijay Morgan grew up in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. Working various plain jobs through out her adult life, she finds solace in writing and journaling. She lives with her cat in Edmonton, enjoys working, volunteering and those outstandingly fun visits with friends that make her laugh uncontrollably. Rather than sit in sadness, she uses the experience she has as a tool to approach and educate people. It also makes her feel really good to talk about her mother. Humour her. Laugh. She would want you to.
