Searching for Robert Finding Andrew
The Reunion Of Mother And Son
by Jill L. O'Donnell

This book is about being single and pregnant circa 1962. With limited choices at the time I decided to go ahead and have the baby. My son was adopted privately by an older couple, who although having an adopted daughter of 6 months was eager to adopt my child too. This story is about the hurdles, the trials and tribulations I endured for 47 years searching for my son. An epic reunion has led to the beginning of a brand new journey.

“Jill's beautiful, factual story unfolds with crystal clear images that show how society has changed with regard to sex, unplanned pregnancy and adoption in the last half century. Finding Andrew comes with emotional sensitivity that is never off target.” —May Maskow, B.Ed, M.Sc. Retired Director of Open College Ryerson University, Toronto “Jill touches your heart and your soul as she leads you through her journey to find her son after searching for him for 47 years. This is a story of determination, powered by a mother’s love.” —Linda Dianne, author of Hugs From Heaven (Divine Intervention) and Strange Normal (Journey of a psychic)

Jill is a registered nurse with a post graduate diploma in public health nursing. She holds a Certificate in Social Service Administration and has a degree in Sociology. She established IRIS Consulting for Seniors Inc, an eldercare consulting company in 1981 (formerly Complete Geriatric Care). Jill is the co-author of The Canadian Retirement Guide and The Retirement Guide (USA). She is a pioneer in geriatric care management in Canada. Jill lives with her husband Leo and their two cats, Gilbert and Sullivan in their aging in place bungalow in Toronto.
