Love Conquers Injustice
Inspired by True Events
by Carole Robichaud

Olivia is a Mom that treats her young boys with the greatest care. Meeting the wonderful Alex brought back to her life the joys of love and sex. Just when she is finally looking forward to a fulfilling family life, she faces a challenge that overturns the way she envisioned her future.

Carole Robichaud has a McGill University certificate in management. Establishing herself in life with a successful career, she bought a house in Laval, Quebec and got married. Next, she wanted to be a stay at home Mom. Depression being a disease hard to recognize, it affected her and when her son died, it convinced her that she had to commit suicide. She survived and she’s been claiming that her conviction of not criminally responsible on account of mental disorder following a guilty verdict of involuntary manslaughter was wrong. After more than a decade of fighting for her son, she now has her reputation as being a good, caring mother re-established. She felt an obligation to raise awareness with everyone but especially with prosecuting attorneys. Look at what a much coveted guilty verdict can cause! Psychiatrists, psychologists, judges, lawyers and social workers, all these professionals allowed a child to be abused for more than eleven years. Carole Robichaud was reluctant to publish her book because her son and other children involved are minors. Attracting the media’s attention again was the last thing she wanted to do. Hopefully members of the press will act more professionally and avoid anymore drama.
