Two Lights

Hello dear reader, thank you for picking up my book and checking it out. You may ask, “Why do I want to purchase this particular book?” As I used to say to my children “because I asked you to.” On a more serious thought, it isn’t about who I am, but who He, Jesus, is. I believe we are all in this world to help one another in one way or another. If by some small way we make a connection, then my mission is accomplished. It is my personal journey, one of finding love, peace and forgiveness through my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. I also believe it is an easy read. It isn’t some deep theological book, or a suspense novel, but a journey. If you choose to buy the book, thank you. My prayer then is that you enjoy reading it as much as I have enjoyed writing it. Veronica (Marx) Donnelly’s first and foremost mission in life is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She was born and raised in Flint, Michigan, in 1937, it was also the same year of the great historic sit-down strike in Flint. She is married to her High School sweetheart. They have been an item since 1953. In her senior year she was on the Queen’s Court, was a cheerleader for three years, and the secretary of her class, which she still has an active part in planning and organizing class reunions. A caption in her senior picture was, “A cheerleader and a leader of good cheer.” They have seven children, seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and two great step-grandchildren. They now reside in Port Huron, MI., the city of the two Blue Water Bridges, connecting the U.S.A. to Canada, Ont. and the most beautiful body of blue water, outside the Caribbean waters. Writing a book has always been on the back burner, but now it has come to fruition. P.T.L.! Veronica says, “May you enjoy reading the book as much as I have had in writing it.”
