What’s the point of always being intelligent, or sophisticated, or really anything but silly? Mischief is a good thing. Zaniness is it own reward. And drawing, even if you can’t even connect the dots, you can emote. Emoting is a good thing. It’s all good. Really! Hey, put that baseball bat down. Wait a second, did you say “Don’t”? Oh nooooo! That’s the worst thing you could say!!!!

One day, long ago, Ronnie Sokol sat alone in the afternoon at his parents’ house. There in front of him a black and white television set. And there, in all its glory, the Soupy Sales show. They say that everything that comes before is leading to a particular moment in the universe, and, for at least some, it is a defining moment of fate, of destiny, of indelible impact. Indeed, as if struck by unbridled lighting, Ronnie watched the Soupy Sales show, and has wandered the earth ever since, re-creating mischief at every opportunity. Sadly his career as a most serious concert pianist and renown physicist were forever derailed. And, with it, a sly grin that to this day resists the word “Don’t” at every turn.
