Albert in the Alley
by
Marissa Furry
Albert the kitten is all alone, living in a box in an alleyway, wondering what will happen when the weather turns cold without a warm home and loving family. That is, until a kind woman spots him outside—and knows just what to do. Albert in the Alley is a story about adopting the pets who become family, and opening our hearts and homes to the fluffy, floppy, fuzzy, feathery, scaly, and squirmy animals we love so dearly. Albert's story is the first Furry-Tale. A portion of proceeds from the sale of each 'Albert' book will be donated to the HBSPCA.
Marissa is a Canadian author of children’s books, adult fiction, and short stories. She enjoys exploring old cemeteries, learning Russian, receiving mail, and watching birds and small woodland creatures in her backyard. She is less of a fan of raisins and horror movies. Marissa lives with her husband, three cats, dog, and gecko in southern Ontario. Albert in the Alley is her first children's book.
