I was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, and come from a proud Italian family. While my heritage shaped my values, my parents wanted me to stand out and be unique, so they gave me the name Allison—a name that has always reminded me to be myself. My journey has always been guided by a passion for helping others. With a degree in education, I have had the privilege of working with people of all ages and backgrounds, including students in schools, individuals with special needs, and even youth in correctional facilities. These experiences taught me that every person has a story, a struggle, and the potential to overcome obstacles and create a meaningful life. For the past 14 years, I have built a rewarding career in the healthcare industry. I am deeply grateful to the owners and mentors who believed in me, saw something unique within me, and gave me opportunities to grow both personally and professionally. This book is dedicated to everyone who has been part of my journey—my family, friends, colleagues, and past relationships. Every challenge,heartbreak, disappointment, has been a lesson that has helped shape the person I am today. I truly believe that people come into our lives for a reason: to inspire us, support us, challenge us, or teach us valuable lessons.
