This memoir outlines the 80-year continuous involvement of the Anderson family in horse racing primarily in Winnipeg, Canada. The family raced its first horse on September 11, 1945 at Polo Park Racetrack and went on to breed, race, buy and sell a large number of horses right up to the present, 2026.
Barry and Wayne Anderson were born in the early 1940's into a family which had a passion for horse racing. In the 1940's horse racing was thriving in Winnipeg, Manitoba at Polo Park Racetrack. So, Barry and Wayne grew up immersed in the racetrack culture and went on to be very active participants in owning, breeding and racing horses. In addition they contributed significantly as leaders in the various bodies governing and operating racing in Winnipeg.
