Soul Sistas Wannabee!
by
Newton Vanriel
Charm and Dawn are soul sistas from the heart. They share everything as they continue their adventures on the Spirit Farm. The “twins” believe that they can be anything they want to be, as long as you work hard and care about what you do. The Soul Sista’s series celebrates diversity and the true meaning of family and knowing it's ok to be unique. The Soul Sista’s Wannabee is the third book in the award-winning Soul Sista’s Series. The book provides a fun overview that highlights the power of being anything you want to be if you believe in yourself. The author continues to speak about the power of the Sista’s at libraries, bookstores, schools, theatres, conferences, vendor events, community agencies and numerous online podcasts. The world needs the Soul Sista’s.
Since his teenage years, Newton Vanriel, has been writing stories, fulfilling his love for poetry and spoken word. Along with his two Soul Sista’s books (the third coming up – Soul Sista’s Wannabee), Newton works as a Fundraiser for over 25 years, married with his university sweetheart for over three decades, and has a daughter and son who are successful and happy. Monique Ra Brent is a Canadian based artist, illustrator, and creative facilitator whose work explores connection, compassion, and the beauty of human diversity. Through vibrant imagery and heart-centered storytelling, she hopes to inspire children to celebrate themselves and each other exactly as they are. When she isn’t painting or illustrating, Monique works in wellness and personal growth, helping people transform challenges into creativity, confidence, and self-expression. Soul Sistas is especially meaningful to her because it celebrates inclusion, friendship, and the powerful truth that our differences can bring us closer together.
