Frankie is a little gosling who’s terrified of heights and flying—and whenever he gets nervous, he farts! After a failed jump from the nest and one especially loud toot, Frankie becomes the talk of the forest. Feeling left out, he sets off on an adventure and meets a new friend with a secret talent. Together, they discover courage, confidence, and the power of true friendship. Full of laughter, adventure, and heart, Farty Frankie reminds children that being brave doesn’t mean you’re not scared—it means believing in yourself and trying anyway.
Jackie McCance lives in High River, Alberta. She is a first-time children’s book author who loves reading, taking nature walks, and horseback riding. Farty Frankie was inspired while she watched geese land on Emerson lake and wondered if they ever get scared of flying!
