Caught in a relentless pursuit, a Jewish boy leaps into the Ulai River to escape his bullies. Beneath the surface, as time dilates, he beholds a vision of a glowing talisman that speaks to him in beams of light, forever changing his destiny. As his homeland spirals into religious upheaval, his family flees abroad. Decades later, now a renowned astrophysicist haunted by vivid dreams, he encounters the talisman again. Joined by a close childhood friend and two experts in archaeology and ancient art, he sets out to unravel its mysteries. Their search leads to a coded message linked to the supermassive black hole at the heart of the Milky Way. Spanning continents and decades, Zagros: an Abyss of Effulgence explores faith and reason, suffering and meaning, the divine and the self. Guided by dreams and the whisper of ancient wisdom, the reader is drawn into a mysterious journey toward truth, transformation, and love.
