The Everlasting Destiny of Kid Power
by Alesia Gage and Whitfield E. Gage Jr

"The Everlasting Destiny of Kid Power" is a book for young children ages 0-12. Little Kenny Power felt like the world was coming to an end after finding a blank birth certificate, but he soon finds out the reason behind the blank birth certificate. Kenny keeps the faith to keep on going through life and soon finds out just who and what he was destined to be, Kid Power, a kid with superhuman powers- here in time to save the world. He may have felt sadness for several days, but he keeps the faith and just holds on, and soon becomes so full of joy. The hook of the story is the first line, " It felt like the whole world was tumbling down on this early Sunday morning in Charamatic City. Young readers will read this first line and want to read further on why things were so bad for Kenny and how the problem gets solved. The story takes place in Charamatic city in the summertime. It will inspire young children to keep on going through the roughest times and to never give up. As Kid Power, he discovers his real birth mother on a mountain and has to prepare for some of the biggest fights of his life with three of the most dangerous creatures: Squrrelin, Rhino Ruler, and Megadalia. Barrabus Cunningham is a student in the same school as Kid Power, and Barrabus is being bullied and wants to get his revenge on the students and the world by sending these creaures after them. This story will lift a child's spirits up when they are feeling down. Sadness maybe for today but joy does come in the morning.
