A Fox and Friendships
by
Gareth Webb
Bowen the fox embarks on a journey with his forest friends to investigate strange noises and footprints in the forest. Along the way, he and his group of friends face multiple challenges that require trust, teamwork, laughter, and support to get through safely. The group learns that their individual strengths are quite an asset to teamwork when they all work together. As children navigate the waters of relationships and friendships, the challenges in this book can teach them some options of how to interact with their friends. As each character has a different personality, young readers of all kinds are sure to see themselves in one of this eclectic cast.
Gareth Webb is a mental health counsellor and has been working with youth for over 18 years. Gareth particularly enjoys authentic connections and nature-based environments when working with youth and adults. Gareth can mostly be found in the forest, on the river, or on the trails with his family. In addition, Gareth is a dad to two wonderful boys, who provide ample opportunity to explore emotional regulation for the whole family. His kids inspire him daily to explore and identify his own feelings.
