Inside Dreamlands
by James C. MacDonald

Unfolding through diverse, colourful narratives of real-world situations, these poems incorporate observations of a vivid waking life with the intense emotions and often surreal images of dreamland. Many poems deal with all the existential anxieties, doubts, and crises of many people; ultimately, however, the poet favours and expresses hope, compassion, and renewal, all the stuff of comforting dreams.

"This collection of poetry is a masterful blend of whimsy and profundity, joy and sorrow. Each poem invites you to pause, reflect, and feel deeply, capturing the essence of life's fleeting moments and timeless truths. These verses will make you laugh, cry, and most importantly, think. A truly unforgettable journey into the heart of what it means to be human." --Dr. D.W. Molloy, FRCP, Professor Emeritus of Gerontology and Rehabilitation, author of many articles and books on Geriatric Studies. "MacDonald does it again. Poetry that makes me think and feel. Next time around the sun, I want to be the creature in 'Snake Dance.' Love this book!!" --Kim Coates, award winning television, stage, and movie actor, star of SONS OF ANARCHY, JERUSALEM, DOUBLE DOWN SOUTH, AMERICAN PRIMEVAL, and over 65 other films.
