Ollie & Friends
Ollie's Talents
by Bailey Parnell

Meet Ollie—a half-robot, half-human boy with a heart that glows as brightly as his hope to find true friends. When Ollie moves to a new town, finding friends and fitting in proves to be a challenge. Whispers, stares, and bullies make him feel more like a machine than a boy. But when Leo, Vera, and Esme show him the power of kindness, everything changes. Together, they take on the ultimate challenge of a sabotaged school talent show that tests their friendship, skills, and courage. This heartwarming story celebrates the magic of friendship, the strength in embracing differences, and the joy of working together. Through empathy, teamwork, and a bit of tech-savvy creativity, Ollie and his friends prove that being different is what makes us shine. Ollie & Friends is perfect for readers aged 6-10 who love stories about adventure, kindness, technology, and the strength that comes from celebrating what makes us unique. Key Themes: Acceptance and inclusion Friendship and teamwork Empathy and kindness Thoughtful use of technology
