"God's Word In Verse" is a book of poetry that the author chose to pray and write about during the CoVid-19. "Shut in days, lockdown days, stay at home days, or shelter in place days." Those were days with many names and many were negative voices, Praise God for "God's Word In Verse". As the days and years passed by, the author continued to pray about publishing the poems. The author gives credit to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for speaking to her during the CoVid -19 days, Everything in life depends on our attitude! During the CoVid-19 days, the author prayed for daily strength and the strength to remain positive. "God's Word In Verse" is a book of 21 positive poems that will bring comfort, encouragement and joy to the readers. Callie B. Turner is a retired registered nurse and a faithful member of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. Widowed after fifty-eight years of marriage to a wonderful husband, she’s the mother of six children, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, as well as a sister to six sisters. She currently serves as the chairperson of the Christian Education Department at her church and continues to teach Sunday school on occasion. She’s also a member of the church choir and the Women’s Missionary Society, and she writes a monthly newsletter for her church. In her spare time, she loves listening to old-time gospel music, doing crossword puzzles, watching sports and murder mysteries, and almost daily texting or calling her sisters. Ms. Turner lives in Bryan, Texas.
