Born in Manhattan, Ariel currently lives with her parents, her little sister Chelsea, and two cats, Venus and Disco, in Oakville, Ontario. Ariel is a true bookaholic, fantasy being her favorite genre. Her short story, 'A Dog's Trip to the Rainforest', won the first prize in the 2022-2023 Short Story Contest, held by Polar Expressions Publishing. Cat Mages: Secrets in the Shadows is Ariel's debut in the world of publishing.
