Tina the Toddler and Grumpy Grammy love to spend time together, even if Grammy does get grumpy now and then. Today they’re going to have a picnic! Tina is supposed to help Grammy pedal, but she’s too distracted by everything around her, and Grumpy Grammy gets grumpier and grumpier. When Tina’s tummy starts to rumble, she has an idea about what to do. But when Grammy finds out what’s happened, she’s going to be really grumpy! Tina the Toddler and Grumpy Grammy Go on a Picnic is a fun story with vibrant pictures that shares the importance of family, learning from our mistakes, and sharing. Kids will get a great laugh out of Tina and Grammy’s antics, all while learning a thing or two about how to be the best toddler—or Grammy—that they can be.

Samantha Maziejka was inspired to write her first children’s book by her mom, a real-life Grumpy Grammy to Samantha’s niece and nephew, and by studying Greek mythology, finding inspiration in the way it creates a story and a lesson wrapped in one. Other hobbies that inspire her are gardening and walking her dogs, both of which get her outside and out of her head, where she finds her best ideas. Samantha lives in Upstate New York where she loves to spend time with her family (Grumpy Grammy included!)
