Bella and the Bossy Driver
by
Tammy Powder
Bella is a bright and joyful little girl—until her worries start to feel big and bossy, making her scared all the time. With a little help from her mom, however, Bella discovers something amazing: she can take charge of her worries! Together, they give her anxiety a name and imagine Bella as the driver of her life, learning to steer past her fears with courage. As Bella talks to her anxiety and learns helpful tricks, she begins to feel brave and strong again. This heartwarming story comes with worksheets and other tools that parents, teachers, and caregivers can use to help children use Bella’s inspiring journey to find their own inner strength!
"Bella and the Bossy Driver is a thoughtful resource that addresses the complex emotions of worry and anxiety in a way children can understand. The book teaches young readers how to take control of their feelings, encouraging them to "drive" their emotions rather than letting fear and anxiety steer them. Its engaging storyline provides a valuable tool for parents and educators to help children navigate tough emotions with confidence." - Shannon Libke, Mother and Grade 5/6 Teacher "From the lens of both a teacher and a parent, this book is both timely and relevant. Packed with practical strategies, Bella teaches children how to step into their power, use their voice, and regain control. By being a brave driver, all readers are guaranteed to be well-equipped to take on any challenges that life throws their way." - Allan Kehler, Best-selling author x 4, International Keynote Speaker
