Pluviophile
One Against The Rain
by Enia Parry

"Pluviophile" is a poetry book that encapsulates the connection between the poet and the “rain” in the sense of tribulations. Each poem describes the connect to an individual and a rainy day, highlighting the topics of renewal, peace, and reflection while demonstrating the gentle & relentless nature of rain fall. The title Pluviophile meaning someone takes pride in the rain, relates to the book's theme. It implies finding comfort and serenity in the rain, emphasizing the ability to persevere, not solely bearing the weather but finding peace during metaphorically rainy times. This book encourages readers to discover resilience and inner calmness, amid life's storms, seeking joy even in the most unfavourable conditions.

My name is Eugenia and I am a passionate poet who shares a deep joy for words that connect to the world. In my premiere poetry collection I explore the depths of love and loss & peace of mind in the midst of distress. Through my art, I aspire to capture the nature of human emotion and the precious relationship between reality and our inner lives. Each page within my book Pluviophile is a wholehearted reflection, of my personal experience, inviting readers to connect with each poem. My work has been applauded for its lyrical elegance and insightful perspectives, and I long for my art to inspire those who read.
