There’s something brewing along with the autumn weather. Something Yvonne has never dealt with before… Yvonne’s life consists of three things: well-bodied coffee, atelier fashion, and fighting cyber-crime. Her childhood soured her on relationships, and now she protects her heart by living for her work. When Yvonne’s elite unit nabs the case of a lifetime, she finds romance knocking at her door. Against her will and better judgement, Yvonne develops feelings for the adopted son of her prime suspect. At the same time her coworker, Luther, reveals a dangerously possessive attraction toward her. Yvonne must crack the case and bring these cyber criminals to justice, without letting her love life run her off course. Will she stand up to Luther and show her independence? Can her lover escape his criminal father’s rule? Yvonne is thrust deeply into a predicament of love and crime as she fights to unravel one of the most elusive cases she’s been on yet.

Mabert Mazyck was inspired to start writing by their fourth-grade teacher, and they never looked back. They’re a hopeless romantic who loves writing, drawing, knitting, listening to music, and the arts. They spend their spare time hanging out with friends, playing with their three cats, and drinking way too much coffee. Mabert lives in Vancouver, BC and takes many inspirations through the various different cafes in the city.
