The Invisible Asset
How Good Communications Can Fix Almost Everything
by Simon Heath

Any organization’s most significant asset is largely invisible: it doesn’t show up on the balance sheet and there are no KPIs to measure it. And yet it affects every single aspect of the organization from top to bottom. Employees do it all day every day. They do it in meetings, in emails, in chat forums, with PowerPoint, in public, and in private. It fills their calendars. How people communicate within an organization affects productivity, engagement, and effectiveness – in short, communication affects everything. Based on more than twenty-five years of providing executive communication coaching, this book is a how-to guide for individuals and organizations that want to tap into The Invisible Asset.

Communication truly is the glue that binds an organization. Good communication requires commitment and effort to build individual communication skills and a healthy organizational communication culture. Simon has been a tremendous partner in this area and this book is the perfect recipe for any organization to learn to embrace and leverage its most important asset.
