The Giddythumps
by
Dan Oldfield
Frazellnap and Beetoo are Giddythumps, tiny creatures who live near the base of a tree and spend their time creating things out of materials they find around them. Frazellnap and Beetoo are dear friends, but—like most dear friends—they don’t always get along. When Beetoo releases Frazellnap’s beloved collection of songbirds from their cage, Frazellnap gets very angry. It seems as though Beetoo and Frazellnap might never repair their friendship—but then their friend Jess steps in to help. Join Frazellnap and Beetoo as they work with Jess to figure out something that humans and Giddythumps have in common: forgiveness.
Dan Oldfield facilitates a workplace training business that supports relationship building, conflict resolution, leadership, and respect. He is a former journalist. The Giddythumps is his debut picture book. When he isn’t writing, Dan enjoys playing the guitar, golfing, and reading about history. He lives in Ontario with his wife, Barbara.
