Violet's Dilemma
by
Wendy Vail Thibodeau
This is a story about a little ant named Violet and her family. Violet is around 9 years old and is very introverted. She loves to watch and listen rather than participating in what's going on around her. Violet thinks others would like her more if she was more outgoing. She tries to be like others but in the end she realizes being herself, makes her happy. There are many idioms in the book which children will have fun figuring out!
Wendy Thibodeau is a retired teacher who spent most of her career teaching children from the communities of Rexton, Richibucto and Elsipogtog, New Brunswick, Canada. She and her husband Edouard, now lives in Fredericton, New Brunswick, mostly because she loves being close to grandchildren Victor and Catherine. This is her first book.
