Bullies
by
Paul Ownman
The tragic death of a twelve year old child takes place in a small, close-knit rural community. Who would have thought this could happen here? This is the story of an elementary school student who takes his own life, and the rippling eff ects it has on all those left behind. “Bullies” shines a light on the many challenges facing young people today and the adults who support them. The problem of bullying is a desperate one and is far more serious than most people realize.
Paul has spent more than 30 years working with young people and their families; as a social worker, teacher and coach. He currently teaches part -time at a community college and continues to write. He lives with his wife on the edge of a cliff and is the proud father of four adult children.
