Bring Light
by Trudy Kleckner

In her third collection of poetry, Trudy Kleckner reminds us of the transformative power of attention, describing with wonder the unaffected beauty of nature and the preciousness of human life. These poems offer pause for reflection and nourishment amidst the frenzy of modern life, inviting readers to take a fresh look at the morning sunrise, the evening sky, and their own lives.

Clear-eyed and concise, Bring Light balances pleasure with pain, tradition with innovation, the commonplace with the miraculous. This collection asks, at its heart, what it means to belong to the earth. Bringing light to the darkest corners, these poems are a celebration of life in all its turmoil and splendor.
