Born and raised in 1970s rural China, Yunxia Ally Niu left Beijing at the age of 26 and lived the next 26 years in Canada. Her bicultural and bilingual experiences are deeply rooted in an equal immersion in both the East and the West, where she cultivated a rich professional and personal life. Ally’s career spans nearly three decades in both the private and public sectors. She earned a Bachelor of Engineering from Beijing Technology and Business University (1995), an MBA from the University of Guelph (2000), and an M.Ed. from the University of Toronto (2014), along with two professional designations: CMA (CPA) from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (2009) and CIM from the Canadian Securities Institute (2005). Living a Dao-centered lifestyle, Ally enjoys reading, hiking, skiing, playing squash, and traveling. A lifelong student, she resides in the vibrant community of Mississauga, Ontario.
