"Personal and heartfelt, Sprigs and Twigs is a unique collection of poems, on topics ranging from the beauty of nature to the tragedy of death. This volume of poetry gives the reader a sense of bittersweet nostalgia, but also leaves an image of hope and triumph over life’s challenges. An interesting perspective on life that entertains and enlightens. Well done!” —Jill Knorr, Elementary School Librarian “Incredible! Every poem is rich with vivid imagery and musical meter while drawing you into a story that plays out like a motion picture in one’s imagination!” —Scott Van Teeffelen, Recording Artist “The strength to soar with wind beneath your wings is found in this collection of poetry. The poet’s descriptions are crisp and vivid. The words are deep and make you think and ponder. They drew me in and I couldn’t stop reading. I can see the tabby chasing the mole, the old man wrapped in his cardigan in the garden, or the bowl of milk for the kittens in the loft. You are taken on a journey with each poem. I invite you to curl up on the sofa and take an unforgettable voyage through this collection of poetry.” —Lauren A. Harrison, Author/Poet
