Eugene's Rocky Road to Friendship
by
Gina Frisby
Eugene the bear wants to make friends, but each time an animal approaches he becomes tongue-tied, gets a lump in his throat, looks this way and that way, and just wants to hide! One by one, animals try to befriend Eugene, but it’s always the same. Lucky for Eugene, his soon-to-be-friends are patient, kind and know just what to do to help him feel comfortable.
Gina Frisby was a shy kid just like Eugene the bear, but she learned how to overcome it. She has filled many roles in her life: mother, girl guide leader, lunch lady, school treasurer, grandmother, babysitter, and many others in between. She also runs a full-time crane operating business. How cool is that? Gina has other book titles available, she is the author of Down on the Pond and the Little Trolls from Norway. Gina Frisby is extremely creative. She loves to create rustic furniture, signs, and loves to write children’s stories. What inspires her, is her love of reading and using your imagination to see life in an alternative view. Her writing is true to her love of the outdoors and her belief that there is no better place to live than Canada. Gina lives on an acreage in Quesnel, B.C., where she loves to take walks around the pond, and watch the animals with her dogs, Maisie and Bella.
