Super Cat Saves the Day is an adventure story that is sure to please early readers and their helpers. It is a fast-paced story with limited repetitive vocabulary, perfect for the emerging reader. The illustrations are real photos taken of Grover, a real cat who often acted like a superhero. He wore his cape with pride. In the story, Clark Cat reads about a problem with the school. He changes into his alter-ego, Super Cat. With some hard work and much determination, Super Cat solves the problem with the school, in his signature quiet manner. He demonstrates pride in a job well-done.
Bonnie Robinson is a retired teacher, having taught Early Years children for many years. She found that there were never enough books available for very young readers. So, taking inspiration from her students, Bonnie wrote many stories for and about them, to enjoy as they began their journeys as lovers of reading. Super Cat Saves the Day was one of their favourites. Bonnie has degrees in Music and Education. She plays the trombone, piano and ukulele, and she loves to sing. She has one adult son, Daniel (who likes cats), and two dogs, Ty and Barkley (who, unfortunately, don't appreciate cats very much.....even super ones!) Bonnie hopes you enjoy reading about Super Cat, and that all your hard work learning to read makes you really proud!
