Alex's Ripple Effect
by
Cindy Klayh
Alex gets separated from his family while playing in a puddle of water. Scared but determined to find them, he sets out on a search. While searching, he meets other animals who also need help. As Alex helps others with their problems, he learns that being kind to others can make a huge difference. Just how big will the ripple effect of Alex’s kindness be?
Cindy Klayh has surmounted many obstacles in her life. Being an avid reader and mother of three children, she knows how important it is to have the knowledge and tools to overcome problems in the most positive way. Knowing that our choices affect not only us, but also others, Cindy wanted to help children learn how best to deal with family, friends, and general life issues. She believes it is important for children to realize that the actions we take can have a ripple effect that is felt by others. Cindy lives with her husband, three children, and three dogs in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
