I'm Not in the Mooood
It is the cow’s first day at the new farm. She is sad because she misses her old friends. The animals at the farm want to welcome her, but she is just not in the mood to do anything. The animals are puzzled. What can they do to cheer her up? Read along as the animals work together to put the cow at ease in her new home.
With a text full of silly farm animal sounds to read aloud, this picture book is an homage to the power of empathy and how good it feels to be understood.
Just like the cow in, “I’m Not in the Mooood,” Joy Kuhl knows what it is like to be the new kid. While growing up as an Army Brat, she attended nine different schools across three different countries. Joy graduated from the University of Kansas, School of Journalism and has an MBA from Baker University. She was inspired to start writing picture books after years of naptime and bedtime reading with her two sons. She lives with her family in Los Angeles, California.
