Little Shots for Little Tots
by Lorraine Fraser

Getting sick is the worst. You can't play with your friends or do your favorite things because you feel awful and you could make other people sick too. Luckily, there are nice doctors who have a way to make you better and keep you better for many years. It's medicine that comes from a quick poke with a needle. It may hurt for a second but it's better than being sick for a long time. So, if you’re feeling scared about going to the doctor, or getting a needle, Little Shots for Little Tots will tell you all about it, and show you that you have nothing to be afraid of.

Be cheerful, strive to be happy and healthy. Together we can make it happen.

With a background in criminology and social work, Lorraine Fraser likes to find ways to help people. In pursuit of that, she was instrumental in changing labour laws in the Yukon, and also has a US patent for a headrest she invented. Since she had been wanting to write a children’s book for years―one that was not just entertaining but helpful―this seemed like the perfect subject to tackle. Lorraine currently lives in Meaford, Ontario, with her partner, Mike and her kitty, Zara.
