The inspiration for spewing my words onto these pages is to bring love and light to my audience. To bring together a community of people who have suffered immensely. To feel understood. To take a glimpse into a person’s life that has been in a dark place but has fought for one’s life. You will see throughout the poetry, how darkness and light are battling many times against one another. You see the process of healing. You see the journey of life.
The author lives in a small quaint town in northern Indiana with her husband Bryce and five year old daughter Lilly. She works in the community as a preschool teacher. She loves hanging out with friends and family. Reading, writing, movies and coffee are her hobbies. She loves sports, watching and playing them. She will continue to write for the rest of her life because it is free therapy!
