Ajooni Loves Cake
by
Tina Johal
AJOONI LOVES CAKE is a story about a young girl named Ajooni who absolutely loves cake! She loves cake so much that she eats a different flavored cake every single day of the week! There is only one problem ... Ajooni hates baking! Finally, after a week of eating delicious cakes baked for her by her Mom, Dad, Grandparents and three Brothers (Ishaan, Zoraav and Niyaam), Ajooni learns a ‘sweet’ little lesson about selfishness and cooperation.
Tina Johal was born and raised in Vancouver, BC. She is a children’s book author and business woman who loves spending quality time with her husband and four children. Tina began writing poetry at the age of eight, but it wasn’t until she had her own children that she became passionate about writing children’s books. AJOONI LOVES CAKE is Tina’s debut book in which the main character is named after her daughter, Ajooni. Tina’s future plans include writing more stories, like AJOONI LOVES CAKE, that will encourage children to read along with their parents/caregivers.
