Nala is a young girl who lives in Nunavut. She was born with FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder), and wants to share her experience and knowledge with others. Piruqatigiit Resource Centre ᐱᕈᖃᑎᒌᑦ ᑲᑎᕝᕕᖏᑦ is a nonprofit organization that provides evidence-based and Inuit-informed resources, education, information, programming, and advocacy for Nunavummiut with suspected and confirmed FASD and their loved ones. One of their goals with this book was to offer children and schools an educational tool for supporting the inclusion and support of learners with FASD and other neurodiversiteis.
