Harry The Bear and The Perfect Pair
by
Renée Phipps
Harry is a young bear who is having trouble seeing. He needs to see far and he needs to see near but everything is blurry! Reading is hard and playing isn’t fun anymore. When he tells his parents, they take him to the eye doctor. Harry tries on glasses with polka dots and even a pair with feathers and a beak, which ones will he choose for his perfect pair?
"Harry the Bear was such a great read. Eloquently written yet simple enough for kids to be captivated. Going to the doctor's can be scary for kids and this book eases all those tensions. An amazing way to teach kids about vision issues which play such a crucial role in their development. We need more books like this for our little ones!" —Dr. Pooja Anand, Optometrist and Mother "This book is a fun and engaging way for children to understand their visit to the optometrist. With the help of Harry the bear, children will be excited to choose their perfect pair of glasses." —Kerri Bush, M.Ed. Special Services Teacher and Mother "Harry the Bear and the Perfect Pair, is a lively rhyming book for children. The story celebrates wearing glasses and highlights the importance of an eye exam; all while maintaining a fun, spirited, song-like cadence about a young bear's journey to better vision. A fantastic book, my children have enjoyed many times over!" —Stanley Singer, Teacher and Father
