Pepe and the tortugas
by
Linda A.Martin
"Pepe and the Tortugas”...is an interesting simple, educational short story told through the eyes of children that will help bring awareness to saving the sea turtles off the coast of Mexico, in the Yucatan Peninsula. The young readers learn how everyday people are offering up their time freely. The people are helping to protect the sea turtles and they want others to know the importance of protecting the sea turtles, before they become an endangered species. The young readers are also able to have fun with this book by learning some new Spanish words. Children love to learn. While this book is directed towards children, adults of all ages will enjoy it too. It’s a great book for older children to read on their own and younger ones will love it also while you read it with them...
