Be true to yourself, You are perfect as you are, Bullying, self-acceptance, handling criticism, Handling judgment, love yourself
Hey you! Do you know that you are amazing just the way are? Yes, you! But some people might not understand that.
The people in this book, like you, have their feelings hurt by nasty words. Why? Just because they are not exactly the way somebody thinks they should be!
It is not until they decide to believe in themselves that their lives change for the better.
A strong belief in ourselves makes all the difference. It can for you too!
Susan was inspired to write “Too” after retiring as a Probation Officer for 32 years. While working with youth and adults she realized that many suffered from poor self- esteem and a lack of self- confidence. Both of these issues are fueled by criticism and harsh words. The result can be a person’s inability to see their strengths, potential or to appreciate their differences.
Harsh critical words arrive at everybody’s doorstep at one time or another. How much credibility you give those words matter.
Encouraging her family to enjoy their life and to develop their talents has been Susan’s passion. Always a life learner she has recently added learning how to play the piano and pickle ball to her activities.
Susan lives with her husband Dana in Chatham, Ontario. Her children, David, Megan and Megan’s husband Patrick live locally as well. Every member of the family supported and encouraged this endeavor. A special thank you to Megan, who laid the ground work to make this book happen.
