Of Forgiving Hearts
by S.A. Pring

Three young women living very different lives are all plagued with hazy dreams of a tragic orphanage fire many years ago. Julia is a frustrated social worker desperate to help kids, Meagan is a painter with a strange affinity for abandoned buildings, and Delse is a no-nonsense hustler who does what she must to survive, and their only link seems to be these disturbing nightmares from a shared forgotten past. But when they start being followed by the same sinister man, they must learn to rely upon their differences, and each other, as they fight to survive and uncover the secrets that bind them together. Steeped in mystery, action and ghosts of the past, Of Forgiving Hearts is a thrilling ride that will keep readers on the edge of their seats until the very last page.

S.A. Pring has been writing for thirty years, everything from opinion pieces to poetry, short stories and now novels. As a member of the Canadian Navy in the early 90s, he wrote a travel log chronicling their adventures with a humorous slant for the families back home, which was soon picked up by major newspapers across Canada. Years later these travel logs were adopted by the Canadian Armed Forces recruiting website as an accurate depiction of what life on board ship while deployed was truly like. Pring enjoys reading Stephen King and Dean Koontz novels and likes to draw using pastel and chalk. He also has a fascination with old buildings and likes to explore them while imagining the lives of their former inhabitants. Pring can be found residing in Victoria, BC.
