Born in Durban, South Africa, A graduate from the University of South Africa, went on to earn a masters and specialist degrees in Georgia. Married in 1989 and have two children. Lived through the apartheid era and saw the election of the first black president in South Africa.After teaching in South Africa for 9 years, emigrated to the United States. Remains a public school teacher, teaching students in the Gifted Education field.Enjoys reading, politics, yoga and being with family. Is an avid traveler who enjoys learning about other people and cultures.
