Teachers at Fairmont High are returning to school after the Christmas Break in an epic snow storm. The body they don’t see in the snow is about to make some of their lives very uncomfortable–and dangerous. Homicide Inspector Mike Watts has no shortage of suspects, but when one of them ends up unconscious in Intensive Care, he knows he has to act fast.
Bev has had two distinct childhoods, four last names and three Australian terriers. While growing up in the U.S. she experienced the Cold War through “duck and cover” exercises in elementary school, the tumult of the Vietnam War as some of her high school friends feared being drafted after graduation, and, upon returning to Canada as a young adult, the euphoria of Trudeaumania. Bev retired a few years ago from teaching high school English to adults in the Toronto area. She enjoys crossword puzzles, reading about history and current events, and indulging in creative writing. She lives in Mississauga with her second husband John and their kick-ass terrier, Maddie. Student Body is Bev’s second murder mystery. Her first, Christmas Touches, is available on Amazon.
