Am I Really Inuk?

Am I Really Inuk? is Noah’s first children’s book. Growing up between Iqaluit, Nunavut, and Horseshoe Valley, Ontario, Noah has had many different life experiences that have shaped him into the person he is today. Noah has worked in the field of corrections, specifically serving Inuit for over twelve years, and strives to encourage healing and well-being through Inuit teachings and customs. Noah has two children he adores and lives with his family in Iqaluit, Nunavut. Charlotte A. Karetak is a young artist from Arviat, Nunavut in the Kivalliq Region. Charlotte is inspired by her grandmother, Rhoda Karetak for her artistic and creative being and role model along with many other artists in her community. Karetak is an active artist within Arviat and has painted several murals in the Kivalliq Region. She hopes to continue to work and influence others in creating art, in different mediums to promote Inuktitut and Inuit stories shared for generations to keep them alive. Charlotte specializes in designing layouts for various printed materials, logos and tattoos, and recently painted a mural for the indoor playground in Arviat. Charlotte works in several mediums including, pencil drawings, acrylic paint, spray paint and interior latex paint.
