For the poet, poetry is not structural engineering; it is a unique medium for creating beauty that transcends reality, a shared spiritual experience expanding the mind of both writer and reader.
Born in Iran (Persia), the land of mystic poets such as Rumi and Hafez, Arshia Tabrizi began writing poetry at the young age of thirteen, while living in Spain. With degrees in Computer Engineering and Law from the University of Toronto, Arshia has practiced technology law in Silicon Valley and Toronto. He is also the founder of Vidoyen, a social video-blogging platform for experts. The poet lives in Toronto with his lovely wife, Arousha, splendid son, Aidan, and beautiful daughter, Alba.
