The Intern and the Assassin
by Father Ricardo

This is a love story about two individuals whose history dates back thousands of years. In this lifetime, their paths bring them together to avert a nuclear incident in N.Y.C. As they proceed through this drama, they spend considerable time with a group of 'immortals' living in Tibet. Each of our lovers agree to participate in a dangerous ritual which brings them to the brink of death itself as they attempt to discover their true spiritual identities. Some readers will no doubt enjoy the love story while others will prefer their spiritual journey.

The author spent nearly thirty years as a lawyer, while raising three children and helping them with their college education. In addition, nearly two decades were spent studying with a great Master Teacher whose training provided the background for the spiritual information in the book. The most important lessons learned by this author involve the significant dangers our world now faces involving nuclear proliferation. Our world has grown complacent regarding this danger, and few members of our society prepared for what is coming on our horizon. We have brought our world to the brink of self destruction. Although we have the ability to change the future, the real question we should ask is: Do we have the ‘will’ to change the future.
